Gem (GEM) Series
The Gem (GEM) Series consists of specialized equipment for diamonds and gem stone recovery.
This series supports all processing stages as waste rock sorting, PRECON, RECON and single particle sorting. For all these stages unique feeding and particle presentation mechanism are applied leading to outstanding recovery capabilities at low yield.
Beside the traditional XRF technology we supply complementary sensor technology, XRT and COLOR.

GEM - SPS XRF
Diamond Recovery Sorter
This four channel single particle diamonds and gemstones sorter (SPS) has X-ray based optics for high accuracy separation of dry diamond bearing material. The system can not only be used for single particle sorting, but also as a high efficiency secondary sorter.

GEM - Fine Color
The GEM Fine COLOR is especially designed to recover free diamonds and gemstones. Even the finest distinctions in colour and brightness are recognized for precise separation from waste rock.
The GEM Fine COLOR runs a maximum feed rate of 15 t/h with a particle size range between 1,5 and 35 mm.

GEM Fine XRF
Diamond Recovery Sorter
The GEM Fine Fraction series of high tonnage wet machines has been designed for simple operation on remote sites. They operate from a single or three phase power supply with a standard computer based operator's console for detailed reporting and fault finding. A remote diagnostics package can be added. The electronics and optical systems are reliable, fast and easy to maintain. Operating in the field since 1996, these sorters have a track record of both high availability and recoveries.
The GEM Fine XRF sorter is a double pass, six channel machine. The distinctive double pass format ensures that the feed material is re-mixed before undergoing the second sorting process.
The feed to the machines can be completely saturated and needs no drying prior to processing. The wet technology recovers stones with lower luminescent intensity values than the most sophisticated dry feed machines.

Diamond Recovery Sorter (High Tonnage Wet or Dry Machines)
The GEM Mid XRF is the most versatile diamond recovery sorter of the series and comes standard with a Touch Panel interface for operator control, fault finding and monitoring and a option is available to include detailed reporting and logging. The system can store pre-set conditions for simple on site set up and size changes. The electronics and optical systems are reliable, fast and easy to maintain, and all machines have extremely high single pass recovery rates.
